Do you realize how creative you are?

Break out of the monotony of everyday life to find your creative adventure.  I have discovered that by allowing creativity in my life I end up with more time, less stress, and more beauty surrounding me.

There is immense satisfaction that comes from creating something beautiful from a pile of randomness or transforming something ugly into something amazing!  I want all women to find the joy in the lovely mess of creativity and share it with others.

Stop aiming for perfection and stop comparing yourself to others.  Instead you can transform your home and life from a busy meaningless existence to one of functional beauty with time for relationships.

About Me

My wonderful hubby and I have three children, two boys (7 and 5) and a girl (3 months old). They are the loves of my life and either endure (hubby) or join in (the kids) all the crafty fun!

Crafting has been a part of my life since before I can remember.

My mom and dad worked the craft show circuit when I was little selling country style crafts. My grandmother worked the same craft show circuit with my parents selling wreaths and other handmade goodies.  I learned to cross stitch when I was young, maybe 8.  My other grandmother was a scrapbooker before scrapbooking had a name, she used greeting cards and magazine cutouts to decorate her pages.  I still remember helping her make those albums!  

I have dabbled in just about every craft there is: jewelry making, stamping, scrapbooking, mosaics, quilting, cross-stitching, embroidery, crochet, knitting, painting, and more.  The mainstays have been embroidery, crochet, scrapbooking, and sewing/quilting.

All of my time spent in these creative pursuits have given me an eye for color and design which I now use in my embroidery and other crafts.  I love looking at an object and thinking about the possibilities!
